MalaysianInsider reported Wolfsburg based Volkswagen has intended to relaunch bid for Proton take over. VW says that they need to tap growing southeast Asian markets in its quest for global dominance. This could easily materialized since Proton now is a private owned company after delisting from stock exchange not long before. With DRB Hicom is the new owner, there is big chance for the take over to happen. For admin, this news is good for Proton since they badly need technology and money to continue business and being relevant in the industry.
